People want to live in safe neighborhoods where they can thrive and reach their full potential. Public safety is greatly influenced by the built environment. Thinking through elements of environmental design and working to create opportinities for social and economic enhancements can help communities reduce crime.
The purpose of the public safety roundtable is to review what we have heard from Eastport Terrace-Harbour House and the surrounding neighborhood about public safety, identify public safety initiatives that are already underway, and discuss strategies now and longer-term for the redeveloped ET/HH site and neighborhood.
Join us at 6:30 p.m. on March 6, 2023. Invited participants for this event include officials from Annapolis Police, the Mayor’s Office, Maryland Re-entry Resource Center, Juvenile Services, Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families, Maryland Legal Aid, Anne Arundel County Health Department and more!
